3-2-1 Challenge at Make the Cards

There’s a new challenge starting at Make the Cards Challenge today. This week we are having a 3-2-1 challenge, which means we are looking for 3 embellishments, 2 die cuts, and 1 image. You can use any products or theme you want as long as you include all of the things listed. You can find all the details or link up your card on the Make the Cards Challenge blog.

My three embellishments were the enamel dots, the silver thread on the bottom corner, and the shimmer I put over the flowers with my Wink of Stella pen. I used 4 die cuts, the background, the yellow frame, the white detail piece, and one for the flowers. My one image was the flowers.

I heat embossed the flowers with a silver pearl embossing powder, then water colored them with Zig markers. I wanted to keep them kind of light, but they seemed too pale so I did a little bit of splattering with some darker yellow ink. The background I had made earlier with distress oxide inks.
