Hello and welcome! Today I am sharing my last card as guest designer for the month at Krafty Chicks Challenge (#557). Since this month has 5 Thursdays the theme for the week is “anything goes.”
My card was made with 2 new stamps I got from Divinity Designs – one is the background stamp of a fishing net, and the other is the pelican. I started by heat embossing the fishing net in silver, then blended some inks over it to create water and a sunset. Next I die cut a frame to go around it, and then stamped, colored, and die cut the pelican. I placed that just over the edge of the frame to give the background a little depth. I chose a small sentiment because I didn’t want to cover up the background too much.
Please visit the Krafty Chicks blog to check out the cards made by the design team and if you would like to join in the challenge!
