The challenge starting today at Make the Cards Challenge is a theme challenge: Coffee or Tea. I’m still in a St. Patrick’s Day mood so I pulled out a stamp from Unity Stamp Co. that I knew would also work for this challenge.
My card features the paper piecing technique. I stamped the image once on the lighter beige (to use as the base), once on the kraft color, once on white, and several times on the darker green. I carefully cut out the parts from the colored pieces to be pieced on the lighter beige piece that I used as the base. The paper piecing technique is one of my favorite ways to use different papers for one stamped image.
If you would like to join the Make the Cards Challenge this week with a coffee or tea themed project the link up will be open through Saturday, 3/13.
