It’s time to cause some trouble! The new challenge starts today at Double Trouble (#78) and we hope you can join in the fun. The photo below gives a summary of what this challenge is all about.
The only thing required to join the challenge is what Thing 1 asks, and that is to use green on your card. I have also included the optional twist of Thing 3 which is to include plaid on your card. Finally, we are partnering with Use Your Stuff Challenge, so you can also link up there.
The background was made with a layered die cut, which is made by Altenew. I cut two, one in the gold and one in the light green. To get the layered look I just offset the one on the bottom. I used an ornament die cut to cut the middle out after I had the layers glued on. Through the opening I heat embossed the Christmas sentiment in gold. I finished it off with a bow.
I would like to join in these additional challenges:
Winter Wonderland – anything goes for Christmas
Fab ‘n’ Funky #512– Christmas
Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge #531 anything goes for Christmas
House that Stamps Built #F2421 – anything goes
It’s never too early for Christmas and I love that plaid background! Gorgeous 🙂
Gorgeous card, such lovely colours, fab background and plenty of festive sparkle! Thanks for joining us at Fab’n’ Funky this week.

Nicely done, Melanie! The colors are lovely.
Cool on how you got your plaid in there with the two die cuts… creative and pretty.
