Love is in the Air

Hello and thanks for visiting! Today I have a card made for the new challenge at Always Fun (#200!) – the theme this week is romantic/love. The challenge will be open until Sunday, 2/14, we’d love to see you link up your creation.

One of the things I have quite a few of are partial embossing folders, one of which I used on this card. Unfortunately I rarely think of using them, even though I really like the way they look. They are a great way to add some texture and design without more layers or patterned paper. I added a couple die cut hearts, heat embossed the sentiment, colored and cut out the two little birds, and finished it by adding a tiny heart between them.

Since we are quickly approaching Valentine’s Day there are a lot of challenges open to play in. I would like to enter the following:
