Hello and welcome to my first post as a design team member for Make the Cards Challenge! Today we are starting with our very first challenge, and will be posting a new challenge every Monday.
For challenge #1 we have a sketch challenge, and the link up for it will be open until Saturday (1/30). Each week we will choose a winner who will be asked to be the featured creator for the following week’s challenge.
The image I used is from a background stamp made by Stampendous. I colored just one part of it with Copic markers, then die cut the image with a scalloped square. A little trick that gives an image like this the look of dimension is to color a soft gray around it, that works to “push” the background down, while making the petals appear to be raised.
Please check out all the details for this new challenge and see the wonderful inspiration that the rest of the design team has made. You can visit by clicking here or on the image below!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! Love your choice of colors and your take on the sketch! I’m so thrilled to be a part of this very talented DT. Looking forward to seeing more of your creations … thanks for today’s inspiration!
This stamp is gorgeous and your coloring is amazing!! I love how you just colored the floral and left the background black and white. Very pretty!
What a beautiful card you made ❤️
Oh how I love this card! The texture is a perfect compliment to the bold succulent image. Thank you for being a part of this amazing design team!
