My guest designer post this week at Just Us Girls is for Photo Week (#568). What I ended up with looks a little bit more like a Halloween scene that what I had in mind, but sometimes you can’t always predict how things are going to turn out!
I started by using a circle stencil and blended some dark gray distress oxide ink through it. (I used a small circle to mask the moon with.) I then used some water with some colored inks on a paint brush to splatter the gray. This added a little color and some spotted areas. It was still kind of flat looking so I added some sparkle with glitter glue. I doubt this would ever turn out the same way twice! The houses were heat embossed with clear powder and cut out before attaching to the base. I found a small sentiment to finish it off with.
