Something New for Always Fun Challenges

Here we are starting our first Always Fun Challenge (#196) for the new year – and our theme is “something new.” You can interpret that however you want, whether it be to celebrate a new baby, a new house, or just use a new stamp or craft supply.

I decided to use a new stamp and some new paper. The stamp is from Hero Arts, and I don’t remember when I got it, but it was still unopened in it’s package. The paper was from the Stampin’ Up clearance rack, too pretty to pass up!

I colored the flowers with Copic markers, fussy cut them, and adhered them to the die cut background pieces. I added the birthday sentiment and thought that was enough to finish it off.

The challenge at Always Fun will go until Saturday evening (1/16) so now is the time to use something new and link up your project!

I would like to join in these additional challenges:

Watercooler Wednesday #303 – anything goes w/a feminine twist

Krafty Chicks #541 – Stamp Act

And these that are all asking that you use something new:

Use Your Stuff (#413) – All About the New

Sweet Stampin’ – New!

Shopping Our Stash (#436) – What’s new with you?

NBUS (#22) – Never Been Used Schtuff

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Something New
