Enjoying this Thanksgiving morning making a couple of last minute cards. Luckily all the food for dinner was pretty much taken care of yesterday so now I have some time to play around in my craft room!
I started my card with the challenge at CASology -week 379 with a prompt of “Wheat.” Since I really like the clean and simple style I found the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches #398 would work good with my wheat stamps.
My card was pretty simple, I stamped the images in Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink, then heat embossed it with clear/glitter powder. Instead of die cuts I decided to tear the edges around the images and the sentiment. Unlike most of my cards I didn’t even do any coloring, so overall this was a pretty quick card!
I would also like to join in these challenges:
Time Out Challenges #175 – Quick
TGIF Challenges #175– photo inspiration
Rainbow Card Challenge #23 – Sparkling Sapphire
Crafter’s Cafe Challenges #255 – embossing
Stamplorations CAS Challenge – anything goes clean and simple
This is lovely Melanie-the image is perfect and used and love you stamped it in a unique colour. My fav part is the distress edges-I always forget to do this but I always love how it looks. Thanks for joining Time Out and CASology x
