Had a really nice day, but other than making a few cards I didn’t really get much of anything else done. I have a personal mission statement, which is “Crafting forever, housework whenever” and I do my best to follow it!
This is one of the cards I made today, and I was inspired by the challenge at Cut It Up! #213. The theme is “Be brave, be strong, be bold” and should be a card for a woman or girl.
I chose my colors by the challenge at Just My Girls #563, I knew I wanted to play along with this one because purple is one of my favorite colors.
My card features an image from Unity Stamp Co. which I colored with Copic markers. I cut it out by partial die cutting the oval around it. The blue background is cut with a Tim Holtz die. I mounted both on a piece of green card stock and finished it off with a little glitter in the center of the flowers.
I would also like to join in the challenges at Day of the Month Card Club #21– Make your own head (interpret however you want) and Word Art Wednesdays #466/467 – Anything Goes
It’s a beautiful color combination and I love the asymmetry of that background die. Gorgeous card!
Thanks for sharing it with us at Cut it Up for our Be Brave, Be Strong, Be Bold challenge!
