Anything that starts with “M” – that is the current theme at the Alphabet Challenge. I thought these monkeys were too cute not to use for my card!
I started by inking up the edges of my base with some green ink. I used some die cuts for the vines, colored a few details on the monkeys, and then die cut them out. To make their faces I paper pieced some lighter colored paper on the brown. I did some careful arranging of all the pieces and added a few bananas to finish it off!
I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Wed. Challenge – Animal Antics
CCEE Stampers #2037 – slimline card
House That Stamps Built S2320 – Anything Goes
A Place to Start – Children’s card
The Cat’s Pajamas #372 – include an animal
they look full of cheek, love the layout and your use of die cuts
So adorable, Melanie! I love this card, which really showed off the slimline style perfectly. Have a great weekend!
Hi Melanie! I love this slimline design and the way you mixed all of those cute critters in with your vine design cuts! This card is the perfect pick-me-up! Take care!
