The new challenge at the Alphabet Challenge features the letter “J” and the theme is “Jewels/Jewelry.” This was not an easy one for me! I was really at a loss for what to do, and after looking through my stamps (which is no small task) I found NOTHING! I then remembered that I had some Stampin’ Up paper that had some jewels on it, and luckily I was able to find it in my stash.
I kept this one really simple – mounted the paper on some silver glitter paper, and heat embossed the “Happy Anniversary” sentiment with some glittery silver powder. I used a fancy scallop/stitched die cut from My Favorite Things to frame the sentiment.

The challenge runs for two weeks, hope to see what you can come up with!
you didn’t need anything else to make a perfect card for this challenge, love your paper and sentiment
Looks great – that central sentiment die cut is very effective with those colours xx
Not easy for you? Wow, that patterned paper is great! I adore your card.

Mariangela 🙂
Hi Melanie! I was just like you with this theme…didn’t really know what to do either – but you hit this one out of the park! Keeping it simple and letting that pretty paper shine really produced an awesome card! Nice job!
