Time for a new challenge at Always Fun Challenges (#175) and this week the theme is to create a tag. I don’t make tags that often, but found it kind fun for a change!
I started with a large tag, but found it too long so I cut it down to about 6″. I cut some strips with stitched rectangle die cuts, and covered the tag, then trimmed them to fit. I stamped a new balloon image from My Favorite Things and colored it with Copic markers. I then die cut that out and mounted it on the tag. I finished it off with a few candy dots and some rafia for the tag top.
Please stop by Always Fun Challenges and join in the fun!
I would also like to enter my tag in the following challenges:
Modsquad Challenge – use at least 3 patterned papers
Krafty Chicks Challenge #519 – Stamp Act (must have stamped image)
I love this — such a great combo of pattern papers – and the balloons still pop on all that color! I may borrow this idea!
Wonderful birthday tag, very colorful. Thanks for joining us this week at Krafty Chicks!
How very cute is this. You have used those patterned papers perfectly (say THAT 3 times fast…). Great take on the challenge, thank you so much for participating this week at the Mod Squad Challenge
