The colors of this challenge seem to be just a natural go-to combination for me, so I didn’t realize until after I made this card that it would work for another entry for the Color My Heart Color Dare Challenge, #400.
I used a stamp and stencil set I recently got from Taylored Expressions. It was part of a 4th of July release, but I thought the fireworks were a great way to highlight a birthday too.
Below is a close up, where you can see the shine/sparkle a little better, I used distress oxide inks, which take a little longer to dry than just a dye based ink. That allowed time for a clear embossing powder with some really fine glitter in it to be added and give some extra shine and dimension.
Wow what a fun card! I love how you used our colors. Thanks for sharing at Color Dare.
Love the sparkle!
