It’s time for a special one week challenge at the Double Trouble Challenge Blog! Since we have a fifth Monday this month it’s our “Something, Anything, Everything” theme, basically do what ever you want and you won’t get in trouble! You can add the optional twist of using Red, White, and Blue as your color scheme if you want, and the Double Dare is to enter your card with one of our previous partners challenge. You can click on the graphic below to see all the details.
I used a die cut from My Favorite Things, which I cut several times with the different papers you see. I then pieced them back into the frame, added my sentiment, and a couple sparkly stars. After all was said and done I made several cards to use up all the extra pieces!
I will also be entering my card into the challenge at Crafting Happiness. The theme there is always “anything goes,” along with an optional twist that changes each week. (This week the optional twist is outer space.)
Don’t forget to work fast since this challenge is only one week instead of the usual two week!
Very patriotic – I like that the inner pieces are stitched around the edges.
This is a beautiful patriotic card! I love the awesome die you used and the added sparkle! I enjoyed being your Crazy Cousin this month!
I love what you did, cutting the die cut several times with different papers! Piecing it back together like that gives it a cute quilted look. Love this red, white, and blue! 🙂
Perfect Patriotic card. Thank you so much for playing along at my Crafting Happiness Challenge this week. Hope you’ll link up again!
Hugs! Janis
