Yellow is one of those colors that is not really a favorite, but lately as a change of pace I have been using it a lot more, and it happens to be the color for the latest challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare.
I was feeling really ambitious so I got out my alcohol inks and worked on making some backgrounds. I am happy to say they turned out nice, although my fingers and nails are now a green and blue mess!
Anyway, I die cut the hello from white card stock 3 times, glued them together, stamped the flowers on white and lightly painted them with some yellow ink, and punched a few leaves. I added a pearl in the middle of each one to finish them off.
This is such a WOW card! The bold background and the soft flowers! Thanks for joining us at Color My Heart Color Dare!
WOW, Melanie! This is stunning. Love the alcohol inked background (and I totally get the messy fingers, etc.) and the use of just two colours makes a big statement. Thanks for sharing with us at Colour Dare 🙂
