Pink and orange are not really two colors I think of using together, but the current challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments (#340) led me to try it on this card.
I started with a die cut from My Favorite Things to cut out the lines on a white piece of card stock. I then blended some distress oxide inks on a white panel and glued it behind the first. I was pleased with how well the oxide inks blended the two colors. The stamp I used was also from My Favorite Things, a newer set called “Mother’s Day Bouquet.” I added some light dots in the background along with a Congratulations sentiment to finish it off.
