One of our local scrapbook stores was open yesterday so I decided to get out of the house and support a local business. I know you’re thinking that is just an excuse to buy some new card making stuff, and you are right! But I think of it as killing two birds with one stone – good for their business and good for me! What I found was this hippo die cut made by Elizabeth Kraft Designs (and it was even on sale).
I used a background die from My Favorite Things, and the sentiment is from a set by Pretty Pink Posh. I added a little glitter around the edges that you can of see below.
I am entering this card in the following three challenges, all are linked to their challenge sites where you can see all the details.
Cut It Up Challenge #199 – theme is Friends
Crafting Happiness #47 – Anything Goes
NBUS #14 – Anything Goes, but must have something that has never been used (my new hippo die cut)
I love how stamp artists are able to make hippos so adorable when they aren’t really all that adorable in real life, lol! This one is particularly adorable, Melanie, and I love your design with all the stars in the background to reflect your sediment! Take care and keep safe and thank you for sharing at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
So sweet! The hippos are adorable! Great that you were able to actually buy in person. I wish our craft stores were open. Love the die cut background. Thanks for joining the Cut It Up, “Friends” Challenge.
Your hippos are so sweet. I love what you’ve done with them. Love Dawn x
