I am very excited to be posting my first project as a design team member – otherwise known as a “Sneetch” – at the Double Trouble Challenge Blog!
These challenges always have three parts, the only one required is given by “Thing 1,” however there is an added prize incentive if you also meet the challenges by “Thing 2” and “Thing 3.” You can see the prompts for the current challenge below.
For my card I used some dog stamps made by Newton’s Nook and My Favorite Things and colored them with Copic markers. The background was made with leftover strips of paper from a 6″ x 6″ paper pad.
To meet the Double Dare of joining in with one of our past challenge partners I went to the Color My Heart Color Dare. The current challenge there is a tic-tac-toe board, you can see the colors I chose on this board: (Carolina, Mint, Toffee)
In addition to this challenge, there’s another special challenge going on at the Double Trouble Challenge, in honor of National Chip Day and National Goof Off Day. Head over to the Double Trouble Challenge Blog to check it out!
Love all the snips and bits of design paper you used on your background and the dogs are adorable… a great card for all the dog lovers out there. Love the way you laid out DTC. However, I don’t see your Chip Shape, you might want to add it here too, or if you have a separate write up let me know the link.
Love the pieces of design paper you used to create the background – and being a dog lover, this is a dog-a-licious card! Awesome 🙂
Cute card Melanie! I love the soft colors you used in those scraps!
Love your card! The colors are nice and soft and create a great background for those adorable pups! Thanks for sharing at Color Dare.
