My Favorite Things is having their 2019 Card Design Superstar challenge. This is my entry for the “Coloring Virtuoso” category. My coloring of the mermaids is done with Copic markers, the background “water” was made with layering some distress oxide inks on glossy paper and using some glaze to bring out the shine.

I decided to take this challenge even a little further – I wanted to make my three cards using only one stamp set and one die cut set, trying to come up with some interesting and different ways to use them. I chose the “Mermazing” stamp set and the Swing Interactive Die-Namics.
